A Health Savings Account works in conjunction with a High Deductible Health Care plan. You cannot have a HSA unless you are under a High Deductible plan.   Employers that offer a deductible health care as opposed to a co-payment/drug card plan typically have lower insurance premiums.  Employers and employees have tax advantages with the deductible plans and they reduce administrative costs.  Recent studies show that HSAs will become a mulit-billion dollar business over the next few years.  We are aggressively trying to become the leader in offering a Total Solution package to businesses in our marketplace. 

With our INSURANCE AGENCY as our partner, we can sell the High Deductible Insurance plan and open the individual HSA'S all with personal visits to our customers.  The individual’s HSA account is set up at the bank as an interest bearing checking account, complete with a debit card, internet banking, and electronic statements.
